Translation of: "En su primer número hace constar: 'se admitten todos los trabajos literarios y musicales que puedan por su valer figurar en las columnas de nuestra revista, remunerándolos dignamente'. Público los años 1885 y 1886 un almanaque ... Según Baldelló llevaba por subtítulo 'Periodico musical ilustrado'".


Each issue features large engravings and/or lithographs of musicians, domestic music making, and other non-musical depictions including scenes from literature.
